Pilchards is a clothing brand registered as a sole proprietorship (eenmanszaak) in the Netherlands.

By placing an order on our website, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

2. PRODUCTS

We make every effort to display our products accurately.

Please note that colours, textures and details may appear slightly different depending on lighting conditions, photography and screen settings.

Minor differences between product images and the delivered product do not constitute a defect.

3. ORDERS

All orders are subject to availability.

After placing an order, you will receive an order confirmation by email.

An order is considered accepted once payment has been successfully received.

4. STOCK AVAILABILITY

We work with limited stock and limited drops.

In rare cases, inventory errors may occur.

If a product becomes unavailable after an order has been placed, Pilchards will contact the customer and offer:

  • A replacement product (if available)

  • Store credit

  • A full refund

5. PRICING

All prices shown on the website include VAT unless stated otherwise.

We reserve the right to correct pricing errors.

If an obvious pricing mistake has occurred, we may cancel the order and provide a full refund.

6. PAYMENT

Payments are processed securely through approved payment providers.

Available payment methods may include:

  • iDEAL

  • PayPal

  • Credit Card

Orders will not be shipped until payment has been received.

7. SHIPPING

Orders are normally processed within 1–3 business days.

Delivery times are estimates and may vary due to circumstances beyond our control.

Pilchards is not responsible for delays caused by postal services, customs procedures or force majeure events.

8. PRE-ORDERS

Certain products may be offered as pre-orders.

Pre-order delivery times may differ from regular stock items.

Estimated delivery dates are provided as guidance only.

Customers will be informed if significant delays occur.

9. LIMITED DROPS AND RESTOCKS

Pilchards may release products in limited quantities.

Products may sell out and may or may not be restocked.

Pilchards reserves the right to restock, discontinue or update products at its discretion.

10. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

Customers located in the European Union have the right to cancel their purchase within 14 days of receiving their order.

To exercise this right, please contact Pilchards at info@pilchards.clothing within the 14-day period. We will provide return instructions and the return address.

Returned items must comply with the return conditions described in these Terms & Conditions.

Once the returned item has been received and inspected, any eligible refund will be processed using the original payment method.

11. RETURNS

Returned products must:

  • Be unworn

  • Be unwashed

  • Be free from damage

  • Be returned in original condition

Returns that do not meet these requirements may be refused.

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item arrived damaged, defective or incorrect.

Sale items are eligible for return under the same conditions.

12. DAMAGED OR INCORRECT ITEMS

If you receive a damaged, defective or incorrect item, please contact us within 14 days of delivery.

Where appropriate, Pilchards may offer:

  • A replacement product

  • Store credit

  • A refund

13. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content on the Pilchards website, including but not limited to:

  • Logos

  • Artwork

  • Graphics

  • Designs

  • Photography

  • Text

is owned by or licensed to Pilchards.

No content may be copied, reproduced, distributed or used without prior written permission.

14. LIABILITY

Pilchards shall only be liable for direct damages resulting from intentional misconduct or gross negligence.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits any consumer rights provided under applicable law.

15. PRIVACY

Personal information is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

16. CHANGES

Pilchards reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time.

The latest version will always be available on our website.

17. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms & Conditions are governed by Dutch law.

Any disputes shall be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands, unless mandatory consumer protection laws provide otherwise.
